On 24 April, during this year's edition of the GREENPOWER International Renewable Energy Fair in Poznań, the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, together with Innovation Norway, organised a seminar and bilateral business meetings titled 'Climate first. Environmental Awareness and Green Cities'. The aim of the event was to enable participants from Poland and Norway to establish relations and learn about the latest trends in sustainable development of companies and cities.

The event, targeted at Polish and Norwegian entrepreneurs, was attended by 53 people representing 44 companies from Poland and 9 entities from Norway.

Divided into two sessions, the seminar focused on the topic of green solutions in companies as well as in public spaces. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the new ESG guidelines, i.e. the requirements for sustainability reporting in companies in Poland and Norway. In the context of urban development, the session presented the idea of the Green City, which aims at transforming urban spaces into a more ecological ones - using green areas.

- The business mixer was an excellent opportunity to establish Polish-Norwegian business relations, as well as to exchange knowledge between participants - says Justyna Kizlich, Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.

The GREENPOWER trade fair brings together representatives from all sectors of the renewable energy industry. The fair was therefore an excellent opportunity to learn about market trends and exchange practical insights.
